Terms and Conditions

In this document “We” and “our” refers to Your Words Matter, Copywriters, of 10 Heath Close, Aylesbury, UK HP21 9UA;

“You” and “your” means the clients to whom we will provide our copywriting services.

Following initial discussions regarding your project we will prepare a proposal outlining our understanding of your requirements and quoting our fee. This will act as the Brief to which we will work once you have signed your acceptance and will form the basis of the Contract between us.

Additional Work
You understand that additional work beyond the scope of the Agreement must be negotiated separately and will require a separate Agreement.

Services Provided
In consideration for the payment of our Fee we will provide you with copywriting services as detailed in the agreed Brief. We will prepare up to three drafts in total within our initial quotation. Any further work will be charged at an additional fee. All required revisions must be notified to us within fifteen days of receiving the copy.

Client Responsibilities
You understand that no-one from Your Words Matter is an employee of yours and that this will be a collaborative, professional relationship of equals where mutual professional respect, courtesy and consideration are expected. You agree to respond to questions, requests and communications from us in a timely manner. Poor planning or miscommunication on your part will not constitute an emergency for us. You understand that we may require detailed clarification of projects in order to meet expectations and provide the best support and highest quality work.

Our native language is English with English spellings. We will happily write with American spellings if you require – just let us know. We may at times unwittingly use English idioms that are not recognized in the US. It is your responsibility to check the work and ask for any revisions for whatever reason.

50% of the fee is payable in advance. Without this payment work will not commence. Payment of the balance is due within 14 days of submission of our invoice. In the event that the project is terminated by you before completion you will be charged pro rata for the time spent thus far at a rate agreed in advance. All payments rendered are non-refundable. Our fee is payable even if you choose not to use the work.

Payment Options
Personal or business cheques drawn in Sterling are accepted for payment. Credit cards and e-cheques are accepted through PayPal. A fee of £25 will be charged for any cheques returned by your bank unpaid.

We will treat all proprietary information that you supply to us as strictly confidential both during and upon completion of the Agreement.

Copyright of all material produced by us remains with us until full payment is received. At that point copyright transfers to you. You shall have no rights to use any copy produced by us until I have received full payment.

Errors and Literals
We will endeavor to ensure that our work is free of any spelling mistakes or other errors but it is your responsibility to review the final document upon completion. We are not liable for any incidental, indirect, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages including lost revenues or profits, loss of business or loss of data resulting from using the copy we have written.

Acceptance of the quotation and authorisation for us to complete the work constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
